Tracer / Business case
Estimated annual evidence-preparation time and cost avoided
This is a modeled scenario, not a guarantee, and not a measurement of your organization. Tracer measures requirements, tests, and gaps. It has not measured your organization's evidence-preparation work, so this page does not pretend to. It runs your figures through two lines of arithmetic and shows the result in three scenarios.
Your assumptions
The arithmetic
Both lines run exactly as printed. There is no hidden multiplier, no ramp curve, and no adjustment factor.
cost avoided per year = hours avoided per year × fully loaded hourly cost
Two figures the arithmetic would accept, and Tracer will not. A share of existing work below 0% or above 100% has nothing behind it to replace. Bands out of order — expected under conservative, or push hard under expected — would carry labels their own numbers contradict. In either case the page names the refusal and the input that caused it, rather than returning a figure a buyer could act on.
Modeled result
Estimated — not measured, not a guarantee.
Enter every figure above and Tracer will run the two lines of arithmetic printed beside them. Tracer supplies no starting numbers because it has measured none of yours.
Confidence: not_connected — Tracer bands its predictions and states a confidence when it has outcome data to derive one from. It has none for evidence-preparation displacement, so it reports the absence rather than inventing a percentage. The spread between your three scenarios is the only uncertainty this page can honestly show.
What this page deliberately leaves out
Avoided defects are not monetized here, by design. Putting a currency figure on defects that were never found would require evidence linking Tracer's use to a defect outcome in your organization, and no such evidence exists. Tracer names the gaps in your traceability; it does not claim the downstream consequences of closing them.
Nothing on this page is gated. There is no email field, no sign-up, and no contact form between you and the result.
